5:52 pm	so here we are getting ready for subterfuge seems like it was only last week that we were doing an event - o so it was... the superfudge, of course. we also graced slough on thursday night as 'agents' for miss fancy chance. that was a riproaring gig. nik turner of hawkwind was SO nice, but we couldn't see the end of the show - had to escape back to london. wednesday night - going in reverse you'll see - was absolutely awesome. i had tried to surprise candiflip with a birthday outing to the burlyQ revue, but he'd guessed it all, except for the cake bit. the show was really very very good. the last one's next week and everyone should see it as soon as they can. all the cast are so talented and very very funny. love it love it. cannot describe. you'll have to go see. although that's the last show, there is a one off BurlyQ special on friday the 13th of May, at the Bethnal Green Working Mens club again. and punkvert are doing the visuals. which will be lovely, as we owe these guys so much. well, now i have to continue packing up the lights for later, so that everyone can see Miss Cocoa Mae and Fancy Chance do their shimmy things. and get made up and do my nails which are a total disgrace. ciao 4 niao xx Current Mood: productive Current Music: silence is golden (Comment on this)

1:20 pm	the weekend was absolutely ridiculously busy friday collecting printing, sewing up curtains, hanging pictures, rendering animation, rigging party, sorting out kids, then doing party, which was very funny... then packing up at 2 am, THEN putting up with lunatic gallery owners bloke, who attacked the till and then gave candiflip a bit of a blackeye, several bruises, having to leave without equipment - one of my rules is never to do that! spent all saturday trying to get kit back wandering around south london trying to find artists and not having any joy... then entertained and fed 6 kids for late afternoon... exhausted sat night. sunday morning got call from lunatic who has since sobered up and been smacked in face with barstool (brixton innit?) - far more contrite - candiflip went to collect all kit, had 3 hour meeting about badlook boudoir with one of the theatre directors, continued with promotional stuff, then decided we needed a new flyer fed kids and then spent rest of night doing photoshoot (this is what we used in the end... http://www.punkvert.tv/listings/badlook) using the fairy lights as usual that we had rescued from the venue, only to realise later that they'd been cut through in several places and that i'd been wrapping myself in live electrical cables... o well... not too far from the look i was hoping for - or candiflip was anyway.
